Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure
Item type Playstation game
Your memories
- My dad got this game for me when I was in 9th or 10th grade, mostly because there was a girl as the lead character and she was fully dressed; I think he was also pleased to find a JRPG for girls, as most of the JRPGs that he could find were ones he would give to my brother. Rhapsody took the standard JRPG plot and switched the genders: the prince is cursed by an evil witch and a young girl has to quest to save him. It's geared towards a younger audience and I didn't have very high expectations for it. So I was surprised to find that it was still fun and amusing. I played the Playstation version and the battle system was pretty good. And yeah, the characters sing. —Bethany, 2012
